1000 tiny marbles art installation by Kosmosphaera

Here is an art work we did for a public school in Switzerland. We won a design competition and we try to remember the iconic fun moments when we were kids.

For this art installation we have made a “way of marbles” each marble is like a small insect, it represents the small bit of impertinence joy and game, in a serious place like a public school.

These marbles are every where from wc to class, corridor to professor room! no boundaries for marbles!!!

Each marble is free to move but .. as a kind of malicious treasure you can touch them, play with them but you cant take them.

We spend about 3 days 2 people with a big HILTI hammer drill, transforming the sad grey concrete walls onto a kind of swiss funny and colorfull cheese filled with marbles.

Art location: Vétroz, Valais, Switzerland
