For the 2.2 project, the challenge was to achieve a low-cost chair that can be assembled simply by interlocking system and an elastic cable elements for locking them in different way.
Mounting so simple that this 2.2 chair is sold as a kit to limit once again manufacturing costs and supply, but also to give the possibility to the user to mount and dismount at his convenience.
Although very robust, if a piece had to wear or damage, it would be quite possible to replace individually.
It’s a sustainable chair, sober and timeless, but does not compromise on comfort. The inclination of the seat and the backrest are perfectly adapted to its use, in addition, an incision of the backrest in its height gives welcome extra suppleness.
