Aigües Braves was born from the union between sound and matter. It’s a project made for the festival of visual and sound arts Eufònic, with a duration of four days and held in the Terres de l’Ebre region.

Working under the concept of sedimentary layers present in the Ebre Delta, the design of three participatory installations has taken place, or three peculiar musical instruments.

Each of these activates when the assistants interact, motivated by the atmospheric music created in collaboration with the experimental artist, Bofirax. We catalogue the sounds produced as “electrorganic”, generating a sensory and very surrounding experience.

The installation is located in a school's subterranean room in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, Catalonia.

An experimental audiovisual piece was projected, with music by Bofirax.

The solids' instrument.

Turning off the instrument, the water circuit is opened with the sound of a rainstick.

This is the air instrument.

Playing this instrument the circuit blows compressed air and the water system moves to its beat.

'The Cave'.

The three circuits inspired by the different sedimentary layers in the area.
