How similar we are! This series of paintings confronts the behavior of humans and animals in the context of their common habitat critical, but with a wink and a slight bit of sarcasm. Some people may be able to identify themselves in the painting of the animal – the similarities are not far apart. Denise Hachinger wants to visualize analogies to the wildlife in a very positive way and create an emotional binding to the animals. She asks for a more respectful, species-appropriate behavior and encourages to self-reflection.
