Dear Moco Loco team:
My name is Sabrina Chun from San Francisco, California. I have been following MOCO for awhile and count myself as one of your longtime fans and readers. I have always strongly believed that you guys have a great influence on our culture and modern society.
The reason why I am contacting you is because I have just started a project: Blackprints. Here’s the link to my Kickstarter campaign: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sabrinachun/blackprints-car-designs-reimagined. Additionally, here is the official website: http://www.blackprintdesign.com and my Dropbox of HQ high resolution photos: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8h2ao7aayoivych/xrRX0ecIdD.
The Kickstarter campaign had already met its $5,000 goal in a matter of hours upon its initial launch, and has already gathered press and attention from a few notable websites, such as Jalopnik, Hot Rod, and Autoblog.
I have chosen eight cars that I believe have a significance in history and pop culture and turned them in minimalist designs in eye-catching inverse black and white. These prints are 100% eco-friendly–I’ve used recycled paper for the cardstock and the ink and solvent are soybean plant-based.
There’s a very retro and vintage feel to them that I believe will appeal to a large number of people, regardless if they’re car enthusiasts or not. I think they’ll make great presents for anyone who wants an interesting and cool print up on their wall!
Please feel free to explore my project. I would love to hear your thoughts about Blackprints. It would be deeply appreciated if you helped share, support, and spread the word about it. It would mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for your time, MOCO team! Keep up the inspiring work and I hope to hear from you.
