Of course, you have heard of BrickBox (not the box for Legos, the shelving system!) available in the USA and Canada. (www.modmobili.com; brickboxcanada.com).
BrickBox is a system of “Boxes” that can either be used for carrying items – or – they can be used in combination to form storage that are perfect books, multimedia collections, display, even storage for
?kids: books & ?toys? can be stored neatly behind doors or proudly displayed.
They are completely modular and can grow with you; to increase storage space later, simply add on to your existing BrickBox system. Shelves are also available, perfect for blue-ray storage, or older technology – and yes, BrickBox is designed sturdy enough to survive the load of vinyl records you still have (boxes for records are a slightly longer lead time; they are not kept in stock.)
BrickBox is made of multiple layers of plywood (the designer was influenced by the construction of the Eames designs); with a white laminate surface. The doors are made of light weight and very durable translucent polycarbonate (color is “ice”) with metallic axes points.
The load capacity for the boxes are over 175 lbs each, and when used as a system, this increases to over 250 lbs. BrickBox is kept in stock in the USA; units are delivered flat packed, and shipping is included in the price.
?Additionally – ??BrickBox is on sale through June in Canada. ?
All the best,
