Le Cabinet De Curiosités De Thomas Erber
On the heels of the success at Colette, Paris this past winter, Thomas Erber and Browns have teamed up to create an unprecedented London-based Cabinet de Curiosités (Cabinet of Curiosities): 30 internationally renowned artists and designers have been invited to present a unique creation celebrating excellence within the realms of fashion, furniture design, photography, literature and art.
As a lover of photography, and based on his highly-regarded expertise for finding the gems in the creative world, Thomas Erber personally chose 7 photographers who embody the inspired distinctiveness he wishes to share, “I’m not interested in fashionable names… I look for things with a special spirit“.
Among each of these unique oeuvre, we find the lyrical and poetic work of Robert Holden encapsulating ‘Somewhere’, Erber’s concept behind this photography showcase.
This photo, from the series, “Suspiros”, reflects an exploration of a new generation, and an homage to Brazilian poet and bossa nova pioneer, Vinicius de Moraes. His entire series is visible on www.robertholden.net .
