“Casa RM is located in acontext that seems foreign at first sight; it reflects the desire of a largehouse and a very limited budget.
With a very basic program, diaphanousspaces not strictly divided were chosen to answer a series of relatedfunctions, rather than separated.
As a result of these atriple height concept was designed, staggering the different areas to have morecommunication between them and with strategically placed openings to obtain ageneral and generous sharing of natural light, which in turn, will increase thesense of volume.
The stairs dominate the heartof the house (center of the household), led by the vertical movement of the differentinternal situations, as well as a variety of spatial sensations.
Elevations of Casa RM firstly respond to the simplicity ofthe layout and the desire not to be star of the environment, but a witness tothe constant interventions which are subject to the houses nearby.”
