CAVIAR is born from an experimental investigation of a material, sintered bronze.

Sintered bronze is composed of many littles bronze granules compacted and welded together through heat.
This creates a porous material used mainly to make industrial filters.

Being in love with this material’s aspect, i wanted to take it out of its industrial world to enhance its properties.

Many tests, experiences and treatments allowed me to pull out some aesthetic and physical properties and to explore them
by creating CAVIAR, a table flame.

CAVIAR stands as my diploma project in “Master of advanced studies for luxury and craftsmanship” at Ecal Switzerland.
