Cimbra table is the synthesis of the challenges that an architect and designer faces on a daily basis.
The table is inspired in a very popular construction method called ¨cimbra¨(shoring) used in every single type of architectural projects in Mexico. Using this method as an inspiration was considered important to generate a new and contemporary language through their own forms of idlers and pallets. This resulted in the use of thinner colored panels finished with veneer or laminate, which makes the panels more evident. Cimbra table was designed for two purposes, the dinning room of a house or a desk in an office, in up to three meters what makes the continuity of the legs in the bottom of the cover a clear reference to the construction system.
