Vienna based designer Rainer Mutsch has designed a new light family for ourdoor usage
for the manufacturer Molto Luce (http://www.moltoluce.com/index.cfm?sprache=EN).
The idea behind Clip was to create lights made out of architectural materials:
The shades are made out of natural fiber-cement which was
originally developed by Eternit as a material for claddings and roof coverings.
It is a highly durable, frost resistant and 100% recyclable material basically made out of
natural components like cellulose fibers and water.
The shade is visibly connected to a watertight powder-coated die-cast aluminium part.
Clip is LED-based (warmwhite), has an integrated converter and is certified for whole year
outdoor usage (IP54).
The family consists out of a wall light which can be used
as a up and down-light and a bollard light.
