we are two young architects who’d like to recommend a book for architects and designers.
We would like to introduce you to our book Cut and Compose, into which we have put a tremendous amount of work over three years, alongside our demanding jobs in architecture.

Our idea was to design a book with a DVD that offered a toolbox of optional objects and textures for visualizations and design. Our aim was to enable anyone to create presentation-level visualizations from a sketch or a basic rendering, and at a reasonable price.

The comprehensive database on the DVD is organized into clear categories and also be expanded with your own subject headings.
Six categories are available including people, vegetation, vehicles, sky, materials/structures. The various objects are saved as color photos, black silhouettes and outlines. Object coding links to the psd images with vector information and alpha channel on the DVD database.

These well-known manufacturers are included in this book with their images:

Daimler AG, BMW AG, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, PEUGEOT Deutschland GmbH, Citroën Deutschland GmbH, Ford-Werke GmbH, Herman Miller Inc., Vitra AG, BELUX AG, Artemide GmbH, Fritz Hansen S /A, Samsung Electronics GmbH, POSTFOSSIL, Büro & Objekt, and Birkhäuser Verlag GmbH.

We would be delighted if you could recommend our book on your blog, as we are confident it more than meets your needs.?

Thank you for your help.

Aims and Scope:

Cut & Compose – Achim Bursch / Thomas Kruppa
Toolbox for Visualizations in Architecture and Design – cut out objects & textures
In the feld of architecture, visualization is now an indispensable medium for presenting projects. Visualization makes it possible to illustrate concepts and planned projects and to visually communicate their content and intentions. It also provides a broad spectrum of choices for composing in a variety of contexts and atmospheres. The desire among customers and clients for excel-lent presentations has prompted a rapidly growing demand for visualizations, demonstrating that ambitious presentations can create signifcant competitive advantages.
CUT & COMPOSE closes this gap, making it possible to design individual presentations thanks to its extensive construction kits, which enable users to transform sketches and plans quickly and simply into graphic, professional presentations and to make them competitive.
CUT & COMPOSE is a feature-rich tool that allows architects, interior decorators, landscape planners, and designers to optimize their visual presentations.
The program’s extensive database is organized into six clear categories: people, vegetation, accessories, vehicles, the sky, and materials/structures. The objects are stored as color photos, black surfaces, and contours. Object codes allow one to retrieve vector .psd files from the DVD. Users can also add their own images. The publication includes a DVD containing all of the images featured in the book.
