DERIVA is a collection of contemporary totem that is inspired in it’s proportions and geometries by fishing floats.
The volumes are presented out of scale and declined in different shapes and colours which are then suspended in a membrane of borosilicate glass.
This composition, amplified from the transparent membrane, changes the visual perception of the object, creating an optical illusion.
The iconic object, through a perspective game, conveys a message of suspension of time and waiting.
Functional to the set design, the use of the transparent volumes in vases and a small aquarium for the home.
The saturated colour will perform the borosilicate glass in its various surface treatments, alternating sand- transparency and opacity.
