Light allows us to transform and shape spaces and turn them into more feel-good atmospheres.
We found an abandoned house in the outskirts of Madrid, and we made up our minds to create a new environment. We intended to give it a home-like character. For this purpose, we got disused home lamps and they were used to decorate different places in the house so that they contrasted with the current state of the forsaken building.
Colour was of paramount importance. It transmits energy and vitality and this is how we wanted to express it: by playing with blue and amber.
Seeing thegrass as a green carpet, the façade the eyes and mouth, and the fallen rubble ,were elements of the past that generated different volumes. We experimented with translucid textures, adding fabric as a veil over the main entrance -which enabled us to see all that happened inside the newly transformed home.
