This is one piece in a series of lamps made from the bleached and sun-dried debris of the Sonoran Desert Floor.
The naturally dried and bleached horse shoulder and spine bones were carefully assembled with brass stitches and white ceramic halogen fittings. The piece was carefully designed to reflect warm light from the fin-like shoulder bones while shielding the users from any direct halogen glare.

The bone is so thin in places it gives off a warm red glow from within in an unexpected twist.

*The lamp is only shown online on my website and houzz, but has not been officialyy published as a feature as of yet.
