Saint Petersburg-based designer Yaroslav Misonzhnikov ( http://misonzhnikov.com ) has presented the “Imenno-lavka” ( http://imenno-lavka.ru) — is an information centre of the new type. A new mobile bicycle-operated store has appeared on the streets of Saint Petersburg. With its help the tourists can:
– receive the information about the city and its sights,
– get the city map free of charge,
– and also buy umbrellas, designer’s souvenirs, etc.
Moreover, on the specially designed counter the tourists will find the production of the “Imenno-design” Petersburg brand ( http://imenno-design.ru). The information about the current location of the “Imenno-lavka” store is published in its Twitter and Instagram accounts (https://twitter.com/imennodesign; http://instagram.com/imennodesign).
‘The idea to create a bicycle-operated store came to my mind some monthes ago at the time of the master class of the famous german designer Werner Aisslinger. Of course, such things as trishaws, specially designed bikes for transport of goods and many others were invented long time ago, but all of them are technologically complicated and not highly maneuverable. On the other hand, “Imenno-lavka” is easily fixed and doesn’t need a complex fastening. It is hand-made of natural wood’ – the designer Yaroslav Misonzhnikov says.
