The (J) (Y) (B) (D) is a set of four USBs made of brass patterns. The patterns are themselves the interface of the USBs, which allows for a good amount of contact area to facilitate easy usage when plugging in and out of the computer. Each piece will change over time as the metal surface captures the imprints of the owner who, thereafter, would be able to relate with the object. The (Y) and the (D) are derived from the negative space of the (J) and the (B), which are the complementary of each other.
