The Jig Seat is a sturdy wooden chair that’s suited for everyday use. It’s almost like a toy: a flat cut-out that can be turned into a three dimensional piece of furniture. Yet, this chair sits solid as a rock. The design consists of six parts that feature cleverly designed slots which once assembled create a firm connection between the parts. The result is a rigid chair.

Easy assembly
The Jig Seat consists of only six CNC-milled parts and can be put together effortlessly in just two minutes. Slide the birch plywood parts together like a simple puzzle and the chair is ready for use. No screws, nails or glue required.

The chair can be ordered directly from FLATarchitects at jigseat.com
