This Kaleidoscope Screen is by Toronto designer Scott Barker. It is made from repurposed Ikea product – wooden baby cribs, wall mirrors and curtains, among other things.

The screen was designed for Toronto’s Design Exchange annual fundraiser. It will be part of an Ikea-sponsored auction this Friday, November 16th.

Beech wood has been cut and reassembled with fine joinery and details to create a bespoke object. The screen is backed with curtain fabric and the flexible hinges are cut from a desk writing pad and the fine rope detail is unraveled from a woven closet organizer.
