Magma Jute Rug by Martín Azúa

“Natural fibres for a Zen-inspired rug”

A collection of rugs inspired by the shapes of the magma that grow and expand freely. They also recall the images of Zen gardens, where the stones are trapped by lines that encircle them. A series of organic forms that provide a natural balance to domestic and public settings.

The Magma Jute collection was designed from the know-how of a traditional Valencian industry, dedicated to the production of cords and fabrics. The cord is made especially for these rugs, the interior is made of cotton fibres, and the outside of plaited and waxed jute, the ends being completed in nubuck. The rug is sewn together with very resistant invisible nylon thread.

The Magma Jute rug has two useable sides, so after a while you can turn it over and have a new rug to enjoy. It is cleaned with dry foam and a brush like any other rug.

There are three models: Magma of 3, 4 or 5 circles with different diameters.

There is an outdoor version made in synthetic materials that resist humidity and weather elements.
