Ozzy Rocker – New Product Release
Thayer Coggin, one of the most celebrated names in luxury home furnishings, is proud to announce the re-issue of a Milo Baughman design classic: the Ozzy Rocker. Originally designed in 1955, this mid-century modern rocker features a steam bent plywood frame, solid maple runners and arm caps, and button and welting detailing. Built to the original specifications of Mr. Baughman, the 2014 re-issue offers updated metal finish options – either brushed stainless steel or bronze.
Milo Baughman (1923-2003) was a pioneer in modern design and one of the leading modern furniture designers of the second half of the 20th century. From 1953 to 2003, Thayer Coggin and Milo Baughman collaborated on designs, engineering and manufacturing techniques that came to define the mid-century modern era of American residential furniture. Today, Thayer Coggin furniture is custom made to order and handcrafted by master craftsmen in our headquarters in High Point, North Carolina. The company is still family-owned and operated.
