The shutter was born in the Mediterranean area with the function
to filter the light and the heat of the day, while allowing the passage
and the air exchange.
A simple object that transforms the windows, and the sunlight,
in a real lamp that allow to modulate the light. A lamp as opposed,
to “light up” when too much light enters a room.
Full of charm, the shutter is a filter between internal and external
sounds and permeable to perfumes but which reduces the amount of
light without completely blocking the view towards the outside.
Look through a shutter, like to spy on a crack, allows watching the
world, but defending your own privacy.
