French design brand Ligne Roset will present their new collection next week at the Maison&Objet in Paris, including this family of coffee tables designed by Amsterdam based industrial designer Andreas Kowalewski.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION TEXT:
The Piani table range is a light and minimal design made of two distinct surfaces that elegantly float above each other.
The overlapping architecture offers more space to creatively arrange everyday objects. Each element of the table plays an essential role in forming a unified structure, striking a balance between the visual perception of lightness and space. The column design enables the upper surface to extend into the air whilst allowing the lower surface to effortlessly rest between two legs. This lower surface combined with the cross-brace as the central support completes and strengthens the overall structure. The table tops are crafted from solid american walnut wood and the table bases are made from solid ash wood rods stained in black. The Piani family is available in three sizes: a coffee table (XL), side table (L), and a bedside table (M).
