David Taylor presents two new vessels made for KH+ a cooperation between architect Robert Kretzer and Konsthantverkarna, Swedens largest and oldest crafts collective.
KH+ is a temporary exhibition space in the Birger Jarlsgatan underpass to Östermalmstorgs Tube Station in central Stockholm powered by your smartphone. A blend of 12 craftsmen, designers and artists will be occupying the space from 19th April- 6th May.
Selected renowed artists of Konsthantverkarna and international guest artists will exhibit their work to show the vast diversity and influence of craft.
The use of the latest technology will help us to push the boundaries by creating an exciting mixture of tradition and technology. Information about the exhibition and its designers will be available through a website and smart phone app, that will enable pass-byers to scan the OCR code on the windows and receive information directly onto their smartphones. Artist and showcased objects will be connected to the social media like twitter and Facebook, so that everyone can post and tweet their favourite design.
