Gluttony derives from our greed, temporary trance in an aroused state of mind. Thick as church walls, our borders of what is right or wrong melts into desire. A desire that is well hidden in ourselves but very clear in our exhilaration.
Gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins, and can be declared within a confession booth. Gently through the grid of the confession booth seeps our sins into revelation of our desires, which now are portrayed vulgar and extraneous, however still silently and seductively compelling.
The outside box is made of a grid commonly found in the confession booths in the church, and should portray the balance between the sin and pardon. The form should try to seep out from the confession grid seductively and by uncovering the form should let the sin slip free.
