Project Guerrilla Graffiti is a collaborative effort between artist-designer Lun Cheak and photographer Szeling, on capturing artwork projected onto public spaces in Singapore.
Its an endeavor to explore how art will look like in graffiti-scarce Singapore, and what if Singapore was more liberal with graffiti art.
It is also an exploration of graffiti through a different medium, one that is “not illegal”.
Lun Cheak creates his artwork on his iPad, connecting directly to a projector, the duo scouted for interesting locations around Singapore where space and art fits. The photographs are shot on a Fuji single lens camera by Szeling.
Lun Cheak and Szeling hope the work will make its way to an exhibition to be staged in the near future.
