Two chairs were bought at a flea market, and the third was found in the street
The chairs are first cut into several pieces in order to adapt to the form of the bench then homogenized with a white paint.
The imprint of each chair is carved into the wooden slats.
a detail of the bench
The diversity of the chairs so set in "order" and inclusion, integration and assimilation succeed by this "submission".
Two metal profiles assemble the slats and feet

The aim is to highlight the uniformization and its omnipresence in the new society. As the image of political thought formed by two sets, the individual and the society, the bench consists of two elements: three diverse chairs that each has a history and an identity and a bench symbolizing society that tends increasingly to be uniformed.
