sashiko-pattern

Rondò is a system of circular sound absorbing panels, that may be suspended from the ceiling or stand on
the ground. Designed by Denis Guidone for D3CO, this project is inspired by the tradional japanese
room divider.
Made of linen and sound absorbing multilayer cotton, with a core of wood, Rondò is produced in three
sizes, permitting a variety of interior concept solutions.
Each panel also has internal pockets and a little shelf for small objects.
Rondò was designed for open space offices and hotel lobbies. It is also a solution for dividing work- and
living spaces in a private home.
Rondò comes in three colors with graphic pattern;
The idea of graphic pattern comes from art of Sashiko:
Sashiko is a traditional style of quilting from Japan,
originally used by common folk to preserve cloth by reinforcing it with more layers stitched together with thick thread, has evolved into an elegant art form.
