DEDODESIGN architects designed the offices, workshops, dining areas and other facilities for Santoni™, a manufacturer of seamless machines whose core values are creativity, innovation and sustainability. The design concept focuses around sharing and a seamless exchange of ideas between designers, fashion and textile designers and engineers. Exchange is facilitated by creating wide spaces with minimalist yet warm surroundings that enable learning and research activities.
DEDODESIGN architects worked with core principles of sustainability and efficiency: every office, workshop and meeting room is designed in such a way that energy efficiency is maximized. By creating self-contained boxes within the main factory spaces, we avoided major issues of heating and cooling dispersion. The furniture selected shows simple geometric lines and shapes, colors are neutral with some bright playful elements in the soft furniture, artworks and signage. Especially designed lighting installations highlight the continuity between the creative and productive spaces, generating an environment conducive to sharing and learning.
