Stimuli is a project about the interpretation of daily stimulation that objects offer and how these, through sensations and stimulating factors can provide sensory activity to our daily lives.
Stimuli is a family of containers that invites sensory interaction, causing different stimuli by relating to them.
Throughout our lives we must maintain an active mind to stay healthy, all the information that we capture and learn is through the senses, and to keep these senses active and encourage the flow of information we need sensory stimuli.
The containers are a versatile object in our lives because they have a wide possibility of applications, this is how its stimulating opportunity arises, by interacting with it. With a simple shape and more evident sensory characteristics, it accomplishes its function, which is to contain objects, its uses are diverse and can be established any way the user requires and wherever he or she is.
Each of these objects is inspired by a specific sensation or activity of daily life, some that we do not usually experiment with objects, where different senses are involved while performing them. Sensations like the sound that our fingernails make on a wall, juggling a water balloon and balance are part of the proposed objects, each shape and characteristic establishes a stimulating effect.
Sensory – information is absolutely essential for the development of mental functions, because brain activity depends on sensory stimuli, not only during birth but throughout life. We require continuous stimulation to maintain normal conduct and mind functions.
