Russian designers Anna Strupinskaya and Alexey Ivashkevich has presented their new product –Symphony lamp chandelier during Milan Design Week 2014.
The concept of the chandelier explores the connection between light and sound waves and their resemblance. Light, colour and sound are visualized in 3 interlaced spatial ribbons. The ribbons of translucent silicone imitate rows of tubes that contribute to the perception of the musical instruments theme.
«We`ve continued our experiments with silicone as we love the translucency and color overlaying effects that this material provides. And it`s flexibility is important as well»
Anna and Alexey started their creative collaboration in Moscow more than 10 years ago.
Areas of expertise for this design team include product design and light design particularly as well as interior and transportation design.
The exhibition by Russian designers at DIN Ventura Lambrate was held by Russian Design Pavillion platform organized by Anastasya Krylova (Creativirus) and Maria Tvardovskaya (Profi2profit) in collaboration with Promote Design & Bealux Best Selection.
