For this concept the curving leg elements thread through a hole in the coffee table to double as supports for the lamp. The legs are attached at one end to the table bottom and at the other end to the lamp. The goal was to create a sculpturally dynamic form and functional table/lamp combination with a minimal amount of parts.

The newly formed Something Like This Design is an experimental creative studio started by Trygve Faste (formerly a designer for IDEO) and Jessica Swanson (an artist specializing in sculpture and ceramics).
