Tangent Product description:
Tangent is a set of porcelain vases and cast iron trays designed to create new compositions for flowers in the home. The rounded base of the vases is tangent to the tray creating an appearance of the vases floating on the surface. A strong Neodymium magnet attached at the bottom of the vases lock them in an upright position while at the same time allow for free movement within the tray.
The three different shaped vases are inspired by Giorgio Morandi’s playful still life paintings of tableware, similarly the individual objects have character but their beauty comes from the grouped composition. With the tangent vase collection you stand free to compose a unique setting with the desired number of vases and their position.
The vase prototypes are crafted in Oslo with the help of Silje Aune Eriksen.
Grow Product description:
The rounded silhoute of the Grow pots balance on an apparently ordinary piece of wood. The shape of the pots grow from the tangent point and all the way up, providing plenty of internal space to grow herbs and plants. The grow series is ideal for a little home garden of herbs and creating various installations with the pots.
The pots are made at one of the few ceramic manufacturers in Norway, located in the southeastern part of the country. The clay in this area is ideal for pottery and sourced from right outside the factory.
The work will be shown at the 100% Norway exhibition held in the Dray Walk Gallery, Tent East London. (19-22 of September )
