The Bonzer Shelf Collection are a series of functional wall art, that are perfect for displaying books, wine, collectibles etc.
These curved pieces of art can be rearranged in different orientations on the wall. In part it is also an attempt to manipulate wood in a way that is counterintuitive to how we see it. They come in different veneers, can be customed painted, are just super fun, classy, light in spirit and original. I haven’t seen anything else like it really…. Basically its my love for art combined with the functional considerations of an architect.

Why you should post this:

•This content has NOT been posted all over design blogs, so it’s still fresh and new.
•The video is amazing. It was shot in one of the last legitimate designer/artist studios in Brooklyn. I have been living and working out of there and it’s really something else…
•There is no shelf out there like these!
•The rewards for the project, are beautiful and fun.
•It can an be part of a post that lists gift ideas for the Holidays that also supports young makers trying to get the hell out of their desk jobs so they can suffer in a different and less financially stable way.

About Me: I am 30 years old licensed architect, born and raised in Santa Barbara CA. I studied Architecture at UC Berkeley and moved to NY to pursue my art and design. I took a bit of a detour to design stores for Ralph Lauren, but am leaving to refocus on my product design projects. If you’d like some more info on the project, the shelf (see the video) or myself, please
