FISHING LAMP & CORIAN TABLE
The wall lamp’s design was inspired by marine motifs such as a fishing rod, a sail, a float.
The arm of the lamp is made from 2 aluminum tubes, one inside of the other. The telescopic movement of the tubes enables the user to shorten or extend the arm and by that adjust the light.
The base of the lamp is made in a lamination technique, designed in an asymmetrical shape that reveals the metal tube and the wooden pole hinge. The entire mechanism of the lamp is intentionally showing and plays a significant part in the overall design.
The table is made from a 12 mm Corian plate and an oak wooden structure: base and legs.
The main attraction of the table is under the surface, in the structure itself, which is also derived from the sea and is reminiscent of the wooden boat structure.
