Thimble, born from the idea of disobeying the rules of size.
The off-scale plays the role of provocation and fun! That creeps into the project in a sort of desire to experiment, explore and subvert the archetype of the object, the thimble sewing, giving it new meaning as the idea of the break, relaxation (sitting down) of taking time for themselves.
The vitality of the color and the use of plastic as a material makes Thimble a friendly object, an everyday object.
“The Zoom looking ” that I wanted to give to Thimble, tells the attention on focus in detail magnify objects that surround us, the most familiar, and of whose existence almost we forget, making those object icons themselves.
