Winner of Muuto Talent award 2012.

KRISTIAN BYRGE, MUUTO DIRECTOR: “The unambiguous shape and the significant Scandinavian traits in material give Tick Tock, Wooden Clock a very distinct personality. The project is ambitious and successful and Muuto is proud to be able to announce Charlotte and her design as the winner of the Muuto Talent Award.”

Tick tock wooden clock is a transformation of the grandfather clock.

By breaking down the clock to geometrical forms and lines and bringing in the movement of the pendulum into the shape a new aesthetic language is created, placing it within a contemporary context. It consists of birch dowels some of which are steam bent. The clock itself is made of thin birch plywood wrapped around a wooden structure.
