Johan Forsberg at design studio Forsberg Form continues to explore concrete using his grandfather clocks. He has for a long time been using the materials to explore the gray shades of the concrete. This time he use white marble and black diabase to stretch the grayscale.
The white grandfather clock gets its color from carefully selected marble and white cement. The marble in the white grandfather clock began to form two billion years ago.
Black diabase as well as white cement and oxidized iron gives the anthracite clock its colour.
The grandfather clocks are designed in a collaboration between Kvarnen Studio and Johan Forsberg at Forsberg Form.
All clocks manufactured will be signed, numbered and dated for the future.
