An architectural model exploring transportable and expandable living spaces, the structure is inspired by yurts, a tent used by nomadic people.
This project is fundamentally architectural with fine art influences. I saw a bumper sticker on a camper van which read ‘home is where you park it’ this inspired me to explore modern needs for luxurious, resource sapping accommodation.
The five walls of the structure expand and contract, increasing or decreasing the inner space. it is handmade using wood and cardboard.
