Products say a lot about a person’s individuality and allows people to read one another through the products they surround themselves with. Sound is an integral part of the surrounding, so why not get creative with the product that produces it?
The AutoSpeck speaker does just that, recreating a unique aesthetic through its brushed antique brass frame and oxidised copper backing. The physical appearance has been influenced by the classic autographic cameras. In order to create this timeless look a once flat 200mm by 100mm piece of acrylic has been heated and pressed out, copper electroplated and then plated in antique brass. Despite being made originally from plastic, the speaker has the weight and feel of a piece of metal.
There are no buttons or remote controls to deal with, the speaker must simply be plugged into a device and played. These speakers use the power and control from an iPod and are compatible with any device that has an aux plug.
