TUK TUK Press is launching BREAKING IN™: Product Design book, a collection of interviews with over 100 product designers about what it takes to build a successful portfolio, to get the job you want. The book is aimed at students and junior designers, but also industry professionals who are curious to hear about their peers’ thoughts on the future of the field.

Included in the book are interviews with such notable designers such as Yves Behar of fuseproject, Robert Brunner of Ammunition, Gadi Amit of NewDealDesign, Howard Nuk of Samsung, Michael Young and Maarten Baas, as well as car designers such as Chris Bangle, Ralph Gilles, and Derek Jenkins. It’s a truly global representation of talent, spanning all continents except Antarctica and covers thoughts by Creative Directors from large corporate in-house studios, to consultancies, and solo shops.

BREAKING IN™ was compiled by acclaimed product designer Amina Horozic.

More information can be found on the website: http://breaking.in/product-design/, which over the course of the next few months, will feature each designer interviewed complete with a bio and samples of their work, along with an interview excerpt.

The book BREAKING IN™: Product Design is available to purchase on amazon.com, or download on iBooks.
