Project consists of the set of no-name objects with indefinite function, constituting a kind of an alphabet of qualities. Potential implicit in abstract forms, materials and the relations between them provokes the user to search for the diverse possibilities of use. I assume the act of creation and the act of interpretation to be equal. The user is completely free to interact with the objects and, ultimately, she/he has to manage on her/his own. C’est la vie, as french people say!

It all began during a grape harvest in Saint Amour Bellevue, France, because of the torrential rain which forced us, the workers, to use objects found in our surrounding and use our imagination to dry our wet clothes. This situation made me think about the issues concerning the use of objects „differing“ from the author’s intention and about the intention of the very object itself. These considerations lead to the question if one is even entitled to talk about the application of an object at all. The aspects of a potential which lies in the shapes and qualities as well as the one of the user’s creativity and consequently the problem of the interpretation of the material world and its contextuality came to the fore. I based on Roland Barthes’ essay “The death of an Author”.
