A corkscrew is a kitchen tool for drawing traditional corks from wine bottles. Generally, a corkscrew consists of a pointed metallic spiral attached to a handle. The thirsty user grips the handle and screws the metal point into the cork, until the spiral is firmly embedded, then a vertical pull on the corkscrew extracts the cork from the bottle. The fancy corkscrews are nice, but one only needs just a sturdy t-shaped corkscrew.
We think that the spiral and the handle can have a better proportion, which would also give a better grip.
We have been striving to find the best materials for our project, which became a very international corkscrew. For the handle we chose Eucalyptus which is a strong wood and beautiful to look at. Spirals are Made in Germany, quality stainless steel. All the parts are put together in Transylvania by skilled craftsmen and everything is supervised from Bucharest, Romania.
