Background composed from fine iron grains which have been allowed to oxidize at differing rates.
The linear image has been built up layer upon layer using heavy structured acrylics. The initial impression was created using opacity reduced metalics which can be seen ghosted underneath the bolder opaque orange tones which defined the image as it developed.
This piece is stamped + signed on the revers (glass siren wax seal in bottom right reverse)
