Coffee table Ekko has an almost animalesque appearance with its curved legs on the side. As if it could walk straight out of the room. As if it was frozen in motion.
To emphasize the bestial character of the design, the ultimate version of the Ekko is made of an elegant leather. Inspired by nature.
A true craftsman covers the leather Ekko: an Amsterdam based motor bike saddler. On the side of the leather coffee table, I have chosen a diamond stitch pattern to add even more character to this design.
Not everybody is a fan of leather. Not every room can bear a diva. That’s why I added a version in walnut as well. Same design, different feel. Made by a craftsman in The Netherlands.
The black legs of this walnut coffee table are made of solid steel. In order to minimize reflection, they have been sprayed with an ultra-matt coating. This special powder coating is used in photo studios since it absorbs light. The Ekko legs protrude through the sides of the table top and are kept pretty slim to give the table an elegant look.
