GECKELER MICHELS’ revival of the elegant plastic shell chair
Acme is a minimalistic design of a shell chair. The strong graphical silhouette is made by decomposing and reducing the body of a frustum. As a result of it, the contrasting geomotrical forms, circle and square meet each other in a surprisingly compatible and integrative way.
Due to the pure shape of the seet shell, the chair can be assembled easily with different kinds of legs and like that is well suited for the contract market.
