International designer Ryan Frank takes the ‘office’ out of
office furniture for Barcelona Design Week 2012

Sustainability and multi-functionality are effortlessly integrated by designer Ryan Frank in his debut office furniture collection, which will be on show on the 5th of October 2012.
The collection consists of a workstation and shelving unit made from a delightful mix of renewable materials such as, bamboo and steam-bonded Spanish cork.

The workstation’s steel frame offers a ‘built to last’ structure with a silky smooth solid bamboo work surface.
The workstation’s structure extends into a multi-use ‘hang-space’ for all those jackets, bags, helmets, plants, earphones that inevitably clutter valuable desk space.
An additional feature to help de-clutter the desk, is a slender, arms reach away shelf above a thumbtack friendly cork pinboard.

A range of objects can easily be stacked in the ample shelving space, while a set of chunky hooks buckled along a length of jute webbing provide a fun and functional way to suspend a multitude of un-stackable objects.

As with all of Franks designs these products are designed with disassembly and material separation in mind. No glues, only screws and healthy timeless materials are used to make this workstation/storage doublet.
