73M households in the U.S. have a pet; however, it’s still very hard for pet owners to find well-designed pet essentials that match their home decor and sense of personal style. To change this, we’re launching a pet startup, called inubar, to give pet owners a new place to go to discover the best for their pets. Every week we’ll be releasing new products at introductory prices (discounts of ~25%) and then moving the ‘member favorites’ into an evergreen section so they’re always available. The products we feature are all well-designed and of the highest quality — sure to please both pet owners and pets alike. We’re working with smaller brands that share our same dedication toward design and are usually not found in a Petco or Petsmart. We’re also in the process of collecting data to create a dog ‘taste graph’ in order to power breed-based recommendations so that pet owners will no longer have to guess whether their Shiba Inu or Boston Terrier will like this new toy or treat.
