We are a Los Angeles based slip casting business designing sculptural and architectural porcelain ware designed from package material. Here is our mission statement:
Alternative fuel derived from waste plastic is high on the agenda of scientists and environmentalists looking to take plastic and ensure it does not take up land fills or being dumped in the ocean. The objective of earthnform is to shed light on the world’s most daunting environmental problem of plastic waste, while producing functional products cast from found plastic. We give plastic and polystyrene packaging material a second chance, by turning it into art.
We are a two person operation located in Los Angeles, California since 2010. Both working, professional artists in our own right, we found many common links through the way we both worked artistically. Currently we sell our product at MOCA San Diego, Louis Lambert Gallery, Seattle Art Museum, Fuller Craft Museum, AMOCA, and The Nevica Project – Chicago.
