design process

Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri have recently completed the Qgini series for Antoniolupi.
Qgini is a series of bathroom accessories created as an extension of Gino, presented in March 2011.?
All parts share a common design concept. Each of them is made from planar surfaces formed into a three dimensional object.?
Characterised by extreme simplicity, the entire collection is obtained by bending a laser cut metal sheet and shaping it in order to meet the possible needs of a contemporary bathroom.?
With the tumbler and the soap dish made from Alabaster, the series creates a blend of industry and tradition, a contrast between weight and lightness. The product range includes towel rails in various sizes, wall hooks, a tissue holder, a brush, a soap dish, a tumbler and a towel rack.
Some of the products are conceived as purely for the bathroom, while most can be used across the whole domestic landscape.
